About the Conference
The SPE Student
Summit of 2012 is the first annual conference for all students in
petroleum engineering. This event is being organized by the Texas
A&M chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers in
coordination with SPE-Gulf Coast Section Young Professionals. The
theme for the conference is: "Setting the Stage for the Big Crew
Change."
With an audience of petroleum engineering students, the conference
will focus on accelerating the professional development of
attendees. Students will benefit from lectures, keynote speeches,
panel discussions, and interactive events by experiencing soft
skills advancement and technical knowledge sharing. Attendees will
also have an awesome opportunity to meet fellow petroleum
engineering students and create a network of future colleagues.
